2020s Performances
21 September 2020 - Amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, the UPCS celebrates its 49th year with a series of virtual performances featuring gem-like pieces from the choir's repertoire sung by current members and alumni spanning five decades of the group's existence. To close the series, the group performed one of its all-time favorite songs - "Kay Ganda ng Ating Musika" written and accompanied by National Artist Ryan Cayabyab.
2021, January - The UPCS virtually restages the musical theaterpiece "Awit ni Pulau" for a third time to celebrate its 50th anniversary, celebrated during the Covid-19 pandemic. With libretto by Palanca Award-winning poet Edgardo B. Maranan, music by National Artist Ramon P. Santos and conducted by Eudenice V. Palaruan, this cautionary tale highlighting human greed and environmental destruction aims to promote the urgent need to protect, respect, and safeguard nature and its resources.
26 November 2022 - Our first face to face post-pandemic performance. The group recorded its first live video, "Ang Aming Bati ay Magandang Pasko," at the National City United Church to celebrate the Christmas season .
29 April 2023 - The UPCS' first post-pandemic concert, NAMCYA's "Gintong Pamana: Bata ang Bukas," held at the Ayala Museum together with the Loboc Children's Choir and Balon Dagupan Children's Choir.
17 June 2023 - The UPCS' first full-length post-pandemic concert: "Undaunted | Songs of Hope, Resilience and Empowerment." Held at the IBG-KAL Gimenez Gallery together with the Miriam College High School (MCHS) Glee Club.
21 October 2023 - "Triumphs of Andrea: The Madz et al Choral Festival 2023," held at the David M. Consunji Theater, UP Diliman. The UPCS performed together with Himig BatLaya, NEUST Chorale Cabanatuan, St. John Bosco Parish Chorale, The UP Engineering Choir and the Philippine Madrigal Singers.
10 December 2023 - The U.P. Cherubim & Seraphim join “How Greatly God has Loved Us,” a celebration in music marking the start of the 2023 Christmas Season at the National City United Church (NCUC) with the NCUC Chancel Choir and the Singing United Church Men. The cantata featured John Rutter’s “Dancing Day” by the children, Paul Galang’s “Diwa ng Pasko” by the men and David van Kampen’s “Christmas Cantata,” by the Chancel Choir.
29 February 2024 - Opening concert for the U.P. Diliman Arts and Culture Festival 2024 "Pagdiriwang ng Pamamalagi at Pamamahagi," at the U.P. Diliman Carillon Plaza.
11 May 2024 - "Don't You Worry 'Bout a Thing," the UPCS in concert at the IBG-KAL Theater, U.P. Diliman. Gracing the event were U.P. President Atty. Angelo A. Gimenez and U.P. Diliman Chancellor Edgardo Carlo Vistan II.
20 September 2024 - The UPCS performing at "Doxa to Theo," Victor Gregory D. Cahapay's first choral conducting recital held at the David M. Consunji Theater, UP Diliman featuring works by Adonay, Abelardo, San Pedro, Feliciano, Cayabyab, Toledo, and Baes.
01 December 2024 - Performing at Alyssa Liyana S. Dioquino's Master Recital, "Flight: Enduring Hope," held at David M. Consunji Theater, U.P. Diliman featuring the works of Santos, Palaruan, Bach, Mozart, Hayes, Wilbye, and more.
10 March 2025 - The UPCS at the Choral Clinic featuring Dr. Jeffrey Douma of the Yale Glee Club and Dr. Arianne Abela. We are honored to have this wonderful opportunity to sing and learn.
27 August 2025 - The UPCS opens the celebration of the 34th National Day of Ukraine at Hotel Okura, Manila with the Philippine and Ukrainian National anthems.
30 September 2025 - Learning under the baton of world-renowned conductor Jan Schumacher at the Aleron Choral Clinic held in La Porte Hall, Miriam College, Quezon City.
28 March 2026 - The U.P. Cherubim & Seraphim presents "I Am" at the David M. Consunji Theater, U.P. Diliman - a musical journey through wonder, safety, and the "joyful noise" of growing up.
14 June 2026 - The UPCS delivers a night of music to the residents of Los Baños, Laguna at its local concert series "Sunset at the Park" held at the General Paciano Rizal Park. The event was hosted by the Local Government of Los Baños, led by Hon. Mayor Neil Andrew N. Nocon, through the Municipal Tourism Office.
02 July 2026 - The UPCS performing special numbers at the U.P. College of Education Parangal 2026, held at the U.P. Film Center.
26 September 2026 - Celebrating 55 years of joyful singing with five decades of UPCS alumni at the anniversary concert entitled "Luntiang Ani," held at the IBG-KAL Theater, U.P. Diliman.
2020s Workshops and Camps
18 May 2022 - The UPCS Virtual Camp: The Cherubim Way in the New Normal, held online amidst the Covid-19 pandemic.
20 June 2023 - Our first post-pandemic summer camp held at San Luis, Batangas. Photo taken at the Minor Basilica and Parish of Saint Martin of Tours, Taal, Batangas.
14 June 2024 - Summer camp spent reading new music and learning about the culture and music of the Cordilleras at the U.P. Baguio Campus. Held at Teacher's Camp, Baguio CIty.
03 June 2025 - Annual summer camp at Pueblo del Amor Resort, Brgy. Sto. Niño, Lipa City, Batangas.
12 December 2025 - Our annual Christmas Overnight resumed in 2025, after a performance at the U.P. Child Development Center "Pasko sa CDC" program.
13 June 2026 - Summer Camp at The Farm, Los Baños. Spent the summer performing at the "Sunset at the Park" concert, learning new music and conducting a choral clinic for the Diocesan Shrine of Saint Therese of the Child Jesus (DSSTCJ) Children's Choir.
